This is me!

Me - first day of school, September 1999

OK, from the beginning.  I was born Christopher Jacob McPherson on July 3, 1980.  I have two parents (really?!), two older brothers and one younger sister.  I have lived in Texas all my life, except for two years in Seattle, Washington.  We moved there when I was 3 years old, so I really don't remember much about it.  I'm told it rained a lot.

I graduated from high school a year ahead of schedule, so I am now in my second year of college.  I hope to go on to medical school after graduation.  Everything about how the human body works absolutely fascinates me.  It's amazing!  OK, enough of that.  I could go on for days (and sometimes do).

Oh, and one more thing... I happen to be gay. (duh)  Thought I'd throw that in just in case you haven't figured it out yet.  I don't know how a person gets to be gay, but I happen to believe I was born this way.  I've been gay for as long as I can remember, though I tried to fight it for a while.  Why would a person choose to be gay?  It certainly isn't the easiest thing in the world to be.  I've been out of closet (sort of) for about a year and a half now.  Most all of my friends know and are OK with it.  I just recently came out to my family, and they seem to be supportive.  (More about my coming out on the Thoughts Page.)

Up there a bit I listed a few of things I like.  Now a few of things that really bug me.  I don't like getting asked stupid questions online (How big is your thingie?  Can I have a naked picture of you?  Want to do cybersex?)  So take a clue and don't ask me those things, OK?!  I come online to unwind a bit, meet and chat with friends, visit a few cool sites, and generally just have a good time.  If that's you too, then great!  If you're just looking to get your rocks off, leave me out of it!  (whew!  glad I got that off my chest!)

Well, that's pretty much me in a nutshell.  Kinda boring, huh?  Basically I'm just a kid trying to figure out how to live life the best I can.  I'm pretty open about what I do and do not like, and usually not shy about letting people know.  Guess that's why my friends are always telling me to shut up.  But I figure everybody has their own life to live, including me, so why not make the most of it?

OK, I'll shut up now.  :)

Love,

Chris
